PNC Festival of Lights
Festive holiday lights and entertainment at Cincinnati Zoo.
The Cincinnati Zoo's 44th annual PNC Festival of Lights transforms the zoo into a glowing "Wild Wonderland" for the holiday season. Your family can explore the grounds illuminated by 4 million LED lights, arriving early to see the animals before the evening festivities begin. There are several attractions to enjoy together: search for five enchanting Fiona fairies in Fairyland, watch a mesmerizing blacklight puppet show, and catch the spectacular Wild Lights show on Swan Lake. The North Polar Express train ride and Conservation Carousel open at 2:30 p.m., and Santa is available for visits through December 23rd.
Admission is included with regular zoo entry, and families can grab seasonal snacks from concessions while soaking in the festive atmosphere. The zoo is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with extended hours on Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m. Extended hours run through December 31st. Note that the festival is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, and fully costumed characters aren't permitted in the zoo. Check the website for specific admission prices before your visit.
