Paint it Forward: Paper Collage

Join instructor Mindy Keller for a welcoming introduction to painted paper collage at North Market Bridge Park. This two-hour workshop is designed for absolute beginners and anyone who's hesitant about their creative abilities. You'll start by painting paper with acrylic paint, then use papers created by previous participants to assemble your own finished collage. It's a collaborative process—your painted papers become part of a shared collection for future workshops, creating an ongoing cycle of creative exchange. All materials are provided, including paints, papers, tools, and mounting surfaces, so there's nothing to bring except yourself. The session welcomes all skill levels, and you're free to work abstractly, create a landscape, or follow your own direction with gentle guidance throughout. You'll leave with one completed collage and new techniques under your belt. The workshop is suitable for ages twelve and up, and free parking is available. Since each session builds on the previous one, you're welcome to return for future workshops.
