Octagon Homeschool Days

Looking for a structured learning opportunity outside the traditional classroom? Octagon's monthly homeschool program welcomes students ages 5–12 for a drop-in session that combines education with hands-on fun. Each visit includes a short instructional lesson followed by an activity that children can take home to extend their learning. Younger students are welcome to participate with one-on-one support from a parent or guardian. These programs happen on the fourth Friday of each month at the Octagon Visitor Center. Admission grants access to both the lesson and the take-home activity, making it an affordable way to supplement your homeschool curriculum with local history and interactive learning. It's an especially good fit if your family enjoys self-directed scheduling and wants to connect with community educational resources.
