Needleweaving - Summer Camp

Needleweaving - Summer Camp

Learn needleweaving at Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati.

Your young teen can dive into fiber arts at this two-day summer workshop run by the Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati. Participants will create a small abstract tapestry weaving using embroidery floss and an embroidery hoop—no prior experience needed. The hands-on class is taught by instructor Michelle Sayatovich and limited to just 8 students, ensuring everyone gets plenty of attention. Sessions run from 6 to 8 p.m. on both days, held on the first floor of the Guild's location. Registration costs $50 per person, plus a $5 materials fee paid directly to the instructor in cash or check at the start of class (the fee covers your hoop, fabric, floss, and needles). Teens ages 13 and up can register, though anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult during the class. Registration closes July 13 at 5 p.m. Feel free to bring snacks and beverages if you'd like. For registration questions, reach out to Lorain Pettit; for class specifics, contact Michelle directly.
