Matt Maeson brings his Watch My Step Tour to Newport Music Hall this June. The Virginia-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter has built a devoted following with his emotionally honest alternative music. His debut album in 2019 made history when two songs from it—"Cringe" and "Hallucinogenics" (featuring Lana Del Rey)—both hit #1 on the Alternative charts, a rare achievement for a male solo artist's first full-length release. Since then, he's continued to gain recognition, touring with major artists and collaborating with musicians across genres. Maeson's music speaks to life's big moments and messy feelings, turning complicated emotions into catchy, relatable anthems.
