Hand Painting with Natural Dye Pastes

Learn to make your own natural dye pastes and paint them directly onto fabric in this two-day workshop led by instructor Gina Truhart. You'll explore multiple techniques—painting, stenciling, and block printing—all designed to work beautifully on cotton and silk. Whether you're brand new to natural dyeing or already experienced, this hands-on class welcomes all skill levels. The workshop is limited to just 6 participants and takes place in the Guild's dye kitchen on the second floor. Plan to bring a $35 materials fee (cash or check only, paid to the instructor) along with any snacks or beverages you'd like.
