Forged Bottle Opener

Your family can try their hand at metalworking during this hands-on forging class at Soulcraft Woodshop. Participants will start with a premade steel blank and learn how to shape, texture, and work hot steel to create their own custom bottle opener. The instructors keep things beginner-friendly and welcoming—no prior experience is necessary, whether you're picking up a hammer for the first time or returning to the craft after years away. The two-and-a-half-hour session wraps up with a satisfying moment: testing your finished opener by popping open an IBC root beer together. You'll head home with a functional tool you made yourself and plenty of memories from the experience.
