Fiber Art Hive

Fiber Art Hive is a free, community-centered creative gathering perfect for anyone interested in working with fiber materials like wool, yarn, weaving, and felting. Whether you're an experienced crafter or just curious about these techniques, you'll find a welcoming space to create alongside others. You can bring a project you're already working on, dive into the studio's supplies to start something new, or simply learn from fellow artists in the room. This two-hour session is organized by Art Equals, an organization dedicated to making creative experiences accessible to everyone. The Hive operates as a "third space" — a casual, inclusive environment where people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come together to make art and build community connections. There's free parking available, and the team is happy to discuss any accommodations that would help you participate comfortably. Best for ages 18 and up.
