Cincinnati Parks and Rec for Wellness: Free Mountain Bike Clinics
Free beginner-friendly mountain bike clinics at Mt. Airy Forest for kids and families.
Get outside this summer and learn mountain biking fundamentals at Mt. Airy Forest. The Cincinnati Parks Foundation and Cincinnati Mountain Bike Club are offering free beginner clinics led by certified instructors. Participants ages 14 and up will work on essential skills like balance, body positioning, and braking techniques, then practice what they've learned on the Mt. Airy Bike Skills Course itself. It's a judgment-free environment perfect for anyone new to the sport or wanting to strengthen their basic abilities.
This program is part of Cincinnati Parks + Rec for Wellness, which aims to make outdoor recreation more accessible to families. Clinics are scheduled for summer dates, so check ahead to register. Riders need to bring their own mountain bike, a helmet (required for safety), water, and athletic shoes. There's no cost to participate—just show up ready to have fun and build confidence on the trails.
