Bookmobile Visit | Ashland Manor

The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library's Bookmobile brings the library directly to your neighborhood. You and your family can explore a variety of materials on board, including books, DVDs, CDs, and large-print titles, plus a dedicated juvenile selection. Library staff will be available to help you get a library card, offer reading recommendations, and answer questions. You can check out items right there on the vehicle or place holds on materials for pickup at your next visit. Anything you borrow can be returned to the Bookmobile or at any TLCPL branch location. The Bookmobile is designed with accessibility in mind. A wheelchair-accessible entrance with a lift is available, and the interior features a 40-inch aisle width for easy movement. Handrails are positioned throughout for stability. The space is compact and may feel crowded during peak times, and you might notice some gentle movement as people board or from outdoor conditions. Interior lighting comes from overhead fixtures and windows, and temperature varies with weather and the HVAC system.
